Senior Automation QA Engineer

As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will:

Design and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest & Playwright , tailored for Fortinet’s cloud-based (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
Lead the development of robust, scalable test automation infrastructure , ensuring high coverage and fast feedback cycles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, DevOps, and QA) to define, review, and validate quality requirements across the development lifecycle.
Design and execute test plans, test suites, and scripts to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and security.
Build and optimize load and performance testing frameworks to ensure our products meet enterprise-grade standards.
Implement monitoring and observability for test and production environments using Grafana , DataDog , or similar tools.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to ensure clarity, completeness, and testability.
Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation efficiency, and CI/CD integrations to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.
Analyze and report quality metrics, test results, and defects, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and help establish best practices in automation and quality engineering.

We Are Looking For:

4+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer in both frontend and backend, including test infrastructure design and automation framework development.
Hands-on with Playwright , Selenium , or similar tools for UI and integration testing.
Experience with Python & Pytest in automation and quality assurance contexts.
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale automation systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, API, performance, and scalability).
Hands-on experience with API testing , web automation , and performance tools (JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/UDP, routing) and cybersecurity concepts (VPNs, firewalls).
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Fluent English – reading and writing.
