Senior Backend Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, plan, and execute the roadmap for the team, focusing on introducing new ways to improve application performance
Work on the design of complex features across the platform
Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Work with team members on technological and architectural topics to drive engineering excellence

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer (Java)
2+ years of practical hands-on experience in developing and researching algorithms
Experience working with Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Experience designing and architecting large, scalable cloud-based applications
Experience working with Microservice architecture and event-based systems
Strong mathematical background
Outstanding drive and communication skills
Organizational and time-management skills

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP)
BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes technologies
Experience with Spring Framework
