Job Title: Assistant Professor, Neurosurgery

Position Summary:
The UR Medicine Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgeon with a principal focus on delivering exceptional neurosurgical care at Bassett Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will maintain a full clinical schedule, providing comprehensive services across multiple care settings, including outpatient offices and operating rooms at both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality neurosurgical care to local and regional patients across Bassett Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital.
Provide clinical services in outpatient and surgical settings.
Collaborate with regional physicians and hospitals to improve access to neurosurgical care and ensure treatment in the most appropriate setting.
Contribute to the education of residents, medical students, and fellow physicians through clinical instruction and mentorship.
Participate in and support neurosurgical research initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

MD (or equivalent) required.
Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.
Fellowship training in Neurosurgery preferred.
Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
