We are seeking a talented *Senior Security Researcher* to join Cyclops Security and play a leading role in advancing our threat research and driving security innovation. This position is ideal for someone with a growth mindset, a solutions-focused approach, and a commitment to technical excellence. As a senior researcher, you’ll work alongside Product and R&D teams, reporting to the CTO, and transforming our expertise in security into valuable features for our customers.We're looking for a creative, analytical professional with a knack for understanding complex systems and a passion for uncovering the intricacies of how things work. *Your Role*
* *Detection Engineering*: Design, develop, and implement advanced detection techniques to proactively identify and mitigate security threats, delivering real-time protection and insights for our customers.
* *Hypothesis-Driven Research on Threats and Attacks*: Conduct in-depth research to test hypotheses on emerging threats and attack vectors, translating findings into actionable insights and protections that provide tangible value to Cyclops Security's customers.
* *Reshape and Enhance Data Models*: Work closely with the team to refine and optimize our data model, ensuring it supports innovative security use cases and enhances the overall system’s accuracy and efficiency.

*What You'll Need*
* 5+ years of experience in security research, threat research, cloud R&D, or offensive security
* Data analysis and coding skills
* Strong communication skills – written and verbal
* Highly motivated, great self-learner, curious, responsible and independent

*And Ideally*
* B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional background
* Threat intelligence, red team, or incident response experience
* Experience with data/security analysis
* Detection engineering experience
