Product Manager, Business Messages

We’re looking for a talented product manager to lead the development of one of our key revenue driving products: Business Messages. This is a highly influential role that significantly impacts the success and roadmap of the product.

As a Product Manager for Business Messages, your primary mission is to lead the strategic vision and execution of our product portfolio, specifically focused on developing tools tailored to drive revenue and adoption of the service.. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of messaging, and the value it brings from a commercial perspective.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership for Business Messages on Viber:

Define the product direction and strategy for the product
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute a tailored product roadmap that aligns with the larger Business Solution Unit’s goals and the unique needs of businesses.

Customer Facing / Sales Interface responsibility:

Engage with customers, partners, and sales team to understand business needs, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy and provide transparency into roadmaps/managing expectations

Product Lifecycle Management for Viber Business Tools:

Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product, from ideation and concept development to launch and ongoing optimization.

Market Analysis and Customer Insights for Business Integration:

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities specific to small businesses using Viber.
Utilize data analysis techniques to gather and analyze customer feedback from small business users, incorporating insights into product planning and development processes.

Financial Accountability with a Focus on Viber Business Solutions:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to small business solutions within Viber to assess product performance and take corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements
5+ years of product management, consulting, co-founder, or technical experience
Experience in API messaging solutions domain
Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and the unique challenges and opportunities for small businesses within the Viber app
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across different teams
Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth, specifically within the context of messaging applications
Experience in data analysis and utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring product performance and user engagement
Ability to collaborate, solve ambiguous problems, and think innovatively
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or Ph.D. in a technology or business-related field is a plus
