Developing industry-leading security tools is tough, and ensuring they are built securely is just as tough, especially when operating at scale. It takes a lot of effort, coordination, and often custom tooling on top of the already industry-leading tools that are used to secure some of the largest companies in the world.

Palo Alto Networks is disrupting the Cyber Security industry! We are looking for a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer to join our Product Security team, which works with all Palo Alto Networks product engineering teams to provide assistance and guidance on how to secure our products. With your security skills, help identify and report security issues via Multiple tools. You’ll also collaborate with other team members to drive remediation of security issues, and drive continuous improvement of results. In this role you will provide technology leadership in development of security programs by helping to drive disruptive vision, technology planning and estimation. Your Impact

Design, implement, and maintain the security of AI systems and applications
Develop and implement AI security policies and procedures
Conduct AI security assessments
Stay up-to-date on the latest AI security threats and trends
Work with other members of the product security team to develop and implement AI security solutions
Build next gen AI Security technologies with automation into complex engineering CI/CD pipelines
Evangelize and lead the adoption of AI security best practices
Define and implement AI security tooling with the goal of improving coverage and time to action
Improve security reporting, including coordinating vulnerability management, penetration testing, and infrastructure compliance

Qualifications

Your Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity in general, with 4+ years experiences in application security, pen test, security benchmarks, and automation
Experience in AI offerings of GCP, AWS and Azure
Experience with one of the LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Stability, Llama, etc.
Knowledge of security best practices and secure architectures related to AI/ML services
Knowledge of software and cloud security lifecycle deployment and security automation frameworks in GCP, AWS and/or Azure
Demonstrated track record of success
Effective written and oral communication with multiple levels of leadership involving both the business and technical sides of the business
BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required
