As a STE Intern / Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our interpretation platform for genomic sequencing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with STEs to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Conduct functional, regression, and sanity testing to identify software defects.
Document and report defects encountered during development and testing, working closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
Participate in root cause analysis and steps to reproduce in order to contribute to the improvement of development processes and procedures.
Contribute to the creation of automated testing engine in order to enhance testing efficiency and increase testing coverage.
Requirements:
At least 2 semesters remaining in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field (preferred from a university).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing principles.
Familiarity with genomic sequencing and bioinformatics concepts is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) is preferred
Minimum of 3 semesters into your undergraduate studies
Fluent in English
