Aidoc is changing the world of clinical AI in crucial ways. Our AI solutions are being used by doctors across hospital systems to quickly spot and diagnose urgent conditions, which means better results for patients, fewer diagnoses missed, more lives saved. We develop AI to crunch and combine medical data, so care teams can work smoothly and efficiently and keep their focus squarely on the patient.

We don’t just ship products, we deliver results. Our tech is deployed in over 1,500 hospitals, and serves around 50M patients every year. Without Aidoc, 10-20% of patients with life-threatening conditions (like spine fractures, brain aneurysms) get missed by physicians, causing deaths and permanent disabilities. Aidoc’s products prevent these misses and have already been able to prevent hundreds of thousands of missed patients.

As for our financials, we’re backed by some of the most impactful VCs around as well as industry leading partners like Nvidia and AWS, to the tune of more than $350 million. We’re good.

About this role

We have recently developed the world’s largest Medical Foundation Model, which enables us to accelerate our pace of development from 3 to 50 new solutions every year (meaning our AI can analyze 50 more diseases in one go). This creates not only algorithmic challenges, but will also require us to re-think nearly every part of our software architecture. To do that, we need exceptional engineers with a lot of experience in solving world class problems. Our systems:

Need to scale up x10 in the number of patients, scans and solutions processing every scan
Need to react in real time to conditions where every minute of delay may mean a difference between the patient walking out of the hospital on their own - or leaving in a wheelchair
Need to tackle the immense complexity of the healthcare software world
Need to provide reliability, availability, security at the highest levels possible

Therefore, we're looking for engineers who have experience playing a key role in development of complex, large scale systems within demanding commercial environments.

Requirements
Have significant experience with complex problems in a mature, fast paced company where you worked on the core product, from ideation to delivery at scale
