DevOps Manager

n this role you will:
* Lead and mentor a team of 3 - 4 DevOps engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of projects and tasks.
* Report directly to CTO Manage and optimize our hybrid infrastructure environment, including both on-premises and cloud-based systems, to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
* Collaborate with software development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
* Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
* Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, ensuring the smooth operation of containerized applications across development, testing, and production environments.
* Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing proactive measures to identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact operations.
* Establish and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure stack, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new infrastructure initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to our infrastructure strategy.

You have:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
* Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.
* Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
* Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configuration.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar are a plus
