System Validation Engineer

We are looking for a System Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. Job Summary:

As a System Validation Engineer at NP, you will be responsible for the validation, characterization of products based advanced high-speed optical systems. You will work across the product life cycle, ensuring that PIC-based systems meet design specifications and performance requirements. This role requires a strong background in optics, RF, chip design, firmware, software, production and automation, along with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform hands-on lab work, including characterization and testing of photonic components and systems.

Develop and execute test plans for system validation and performance characterization,

Automate test and measurement procedures using Python, C#, or similar languages. Characterize and analyze high-speed optical, RF, and electrical signals to validate module performance.

Support the full product life cycle, from early prototype validation to high-volume manufacturing. Responsible for KPI product validation cycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and software engineers, to ensure robust system integration.

Drive improvements in test methodologies, data analysis, and automation frameworks.

Requirements:

B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of hands-on integration experience with discrete and integrated components

Strong expertise in automation and scripting using Python, C#, or similar languages

Proven experience with LAB Test equipment and ability to debug complex hardware, firmware, and software issues.

Strong analytical skills for processing and interpreting test data.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams and functional groups.

Experience with SerDes technology is highly desirable.
