Job Description:

Sweet Security is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our cloud-native detection and response platform. You will design and scale our automation infrastructure, own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, and help maintain the highest engineering standards across our product.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable Playwright-based automation frameworks.
Own the full testing lifecycle: requirement analysis, test planning, execution, reporting, and monitoring.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Manage defects using Jira and Xray, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Perform backend validation using SQL and API testing.
Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high testability and continuous quality improvement.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of experience in QA Automation for complex web applications.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, including building frameworks from scratch.
Strong coding skills in Python/TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js).
Experience with Jira, Xray, SQL, and API testing.
Deep understanding of automation design patterns (POM) and STLC.
Strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and passion for automation excellence.
