Requirements:

The role

Kaltura is looking for a QA lead.

You will lead Kaltura’s QA Guild and help drive the evolution of our QA practices across the company. This role focuses on improving quality, automation, and testing methodologies for our large-scale verticals, while working closely with R&D teams to support fast and reliable delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and highly technical environment, where you will combine hands-on work with cross-team leadership, and help shape how QA is done across multiple products and teams.

The day-to-day

Lead and coordinate the QA Guild across the company, working with QA engineers and team leads.
Promote and support the automation-first and AI-assisted QA practices.
Design and maintain test automation frameworks for FE, BE, API and E2E testing.
Drive performance and load testing efforts for complex, distributed systems.
Work closely with R&D, DevOps and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Define and improve QA processes, best practices, and quality metrics.
Support onboarding, mentoring and professional growth of QA engineers.

Ideally, we’re looking for:

7+ years of experience in QA, with some experience leading or mentoring other QA engineers.
Strong hands-on experience in test automation and performance testing.
Good understanding of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum and CI/CD workflows.
Experience using AI tools to improve QA processes and automation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.

These would also be nice:

Experience with OTT / Media / Video platforms.
Programming skills (Java / Python / JavaScript).
Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and modern QA tools.
