Lab Technician

Inspira Technologies is an innovative medical device company in the respiratory care industry. Inspira is developing the INSPIRA™ ART system, a cost-effective early extracorporeal respiratory support system with the intent to function as an “Artificial Lung” for deteriorating respiratory patients. The INSPIRA™ ART system is designed to utilize a hemo-protective flow approach aimed to rebalance saturation levels while patients are awake and breathing, potentially reducing the patient's need for mechanical ventilation.

We are now looking for a full-time Lab Technician to join our laboratory team to support all aspects of wet-lab experiments (with blood) and lab ongoing maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for lab equipment - orders, stock, storage, etc.
Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area
Assist with performing tests and experiments using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments
Apply proper lab work habits, including safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations

Requirements:

Experienced with work in a lab environment - an advantage
Quick learner with good hands-on capabilities
Strong team player with “whatever it takes” attitude
Curios, eager for professional & personal growth
Organized & detail oriented
