Process Development Engineer

Gauzy is a global leader in materials science and nanotechnology focused on the development and production of LCG® (Light Control Glass) technologies.

Our R&D department is looking for a talented engineer, to join our Process Development team.

The scope of work includes novel applications development through improvement of our products quality and process yield.

Requirements:

M.Sc. or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, or related fields – is a must.
Hands-on experience in film coating, formulations and mixing equipment – is a must.
Research experience at least in one of the fields of polymer physics/ colloid science/ emulsions/ rheology/ fluid mechanics – is a must.
Minimum 3 years of industry experience– an advantage.
Experience in leading projects and mentoring other engineers/researchers- an advantage.
Willing to travel occasionally to our production site abroad- is a must.
Creative, open-minded, proactive, and self-driven.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Fluent in Hebrew and English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities:

Support development and NPI at our production site abroad.
Analyze defects and establish correlations between the physical properties of liquid mixtures, process parameters, and final product performance.
Lead development processes with subcontractors to enhance production capabilities.
Establish new tools for analysis and optimize documentation.
Collaborate with different teams including R&D, Operation and QA to drive innovation and efficiency.
