We’re Looking For

At our Elbit Systems C4I & Cyber Netanya site, we’re seeking a Systems Engineer for Artillery Applications.

From artillery command and control (C2) platforms to real‑time decision systems and advanced data applications, we integrate multidisciplinary solutions that drive operational superiority on the battlefield.
This is a unique opportunity to design and lead complex multidisciplinary systems combining software, algorithms, hardware, and operational logic, in a role that directly shapes the next generation of artillery C2 systems.

In This Role You Will

Define and specify system requirements for artillery applications and C2 interfaces
Manage the design and development process, coordinating between software, algorithm, and QA teams
Translate operational and user needs into clear technical and functional specifications
Prepare technical documentation, operational scenarios, and flow diagrams for development and integration teams
Support integration and verification processes, including engineering assistance during ATP, SAT, and FAT tests
Perform design and verification reviews to ensure alignment with requirements and operational scenarios
Collaborate cross‑functionally with project managers, product managers, and system engineers
Maintain the system roadmap and lead versions, updates, and future enhancements

Requirements

B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering — advantage
Former Artillery Corps officer, preferably Battery Deputy Commander
Strong understanding of artillery systems, fire‑control processes, and ballistic computation
At least 3 years of experience in product or system management in defense or C2/C4I domains — advantage
Excellent analytical abilities, risk assessment, and prioritization skills
Fluent in Hebrew and English
Familiarity with requirements management tools such as JIRA and DOORS — advantage
High‑level systemic view with strong coordination across multiple interfaces
