As a Finance operations specialist, you will be the technological and operational engine of our Finance department, designed to bridge the gap between finance, engineering, and data. You will take full ownership of our finance tech stack- primarily NetSuite and Zip- ensuring these systems are managed, optimized, and tailored to support our rapid growth.

You will act as an automation leader within the team, proactively identifying manual bottlenecks and replacing them with smart, AI-driven workflows and modern finance tools. By stabilizing our systems and introducing innovative technological solutions, you will free up the FP&A and Accounting teams from repetitive technical tasks, allowing the entire department to shift its focus from manual data gathering to strategic decision-making.

What You Will Own

Serve as the hands-on Administrator for NetSuite and Zip, managing daily configurations, maintenance, and the technical health of these platforms.
Proactively identify manual finance processes and design automated solutions using AI tools and integrations to save time and reduce human error.
Partner with Engineering to represent the financial side of our cloud and AI spend, analyzing cost data and building real-time dashboards to track unit economics.
Streamline bookkeeping and accounting workflows- from vendor management to month-end tasks- ensuring the "finance machine" runs smoothly and autonomously.
Maintain and evolve the operational models and data structures that our finance teams rely on, ensuring data integrity across all systems.
Constantly evaluate and implement new technologies and AI features to ensure Artlist remains at the forefront of modern, data-driven finance.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in FinOps, Financial Operations, or Finance Technology at a SaaS or tech company.
Advanced hands-on experience and proficiency in NetSuite (Administrator or Power User level).
Expert-level mastery of Excel for complex financial modeling and data analysis.
Proven track record in building or owning AP automation workflows such as Zip or Tipalti.
Proficiency in SQL with the ability to independently extract and validate financial data.
Experience working directly with Engineering teams on technical documentation and cloud/AI cost structures.
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue models including ARR, Churn, NRR, and deferred revenue.
A "Builder" mindset with a natural drive to automate manual processes and implement AI-driven solutions.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud cost management (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and resource tagging policies.
Familiarity with LLM/AI API pricing models and AI cost analytics.
Experience with CRM-to-ERP integrations using tools like Celigo or Workato.
Exposure to revenue recognition automation (ASC 606) or close management platforms like FloQast or Blackline.
FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification.
Familiarity with dbt, data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery), and BI tools like Tableau or Metabase.
