We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented *Network Engineer* to support one of our clients. You will work alongside senior engineers to ensure smooth network operations, while developing your skills in routing, switching, and network security.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide *first-line and advanced first-line support* for network-related issues (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
* Perform *initial diagnostics, troubleshooting and resolution* of network incidents and service requests.
* Support *hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance* of switches, routers, firewalls, and access points (Cisco, Juniper, or similar).
* Monitor *network performance* using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
* Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 engineers with thorough documentation.
* Assist with *configuration of VLANs, ACLs, and VPN tunnels*.
* Manage and update network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
* Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit troubleshooting and maintenance.
* Follow *ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes*.

*Required Qualifications:*
* 2-5 years of experience in *network support *or similar IT infrastructure role.
* *Hands-on experience* with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).
* Understanding of *TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN* concepts.
* Familiarity with *Cisco IOS* or similar network operating systems.
* Experience using *ticketing systems* (ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar).
* Strong *problem-solving and communication* skills.
* *English proficiency (B2+)* — verbal and written.

*Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):*
* Cisco *CCNA* certification (or in progress) or equivalent knowledge.
* Exposure to *network security practices* (firewalls, ACLs, IPS/IDS).
* Experience supporting *VoIP and wireless networks*.
* Familiarity with *network monitoring tools* (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12,000.00₪ per month
