Quality Engineer

What will you be doing

· The Quality Engineer will report to SolarEdge Quality Manager in Israel and will be part of SolarEdge team located at Modiin Production site in Israel.

· The Quality Engineer will supervise and conduct Quality control inspections at the production line, to meet Engineering and Quality and Reliability requirements.

· The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Manager to implement improved monitoring methods and lesson learn activities on the production line.

· Quality Engineer will be corporate with R&D, Engineering, Head Quarter Q&R and local Operation teams to reflect improvements to requirements related to Quality in Design for Manufacturability, Engineering Instructions and Tools.

· The Quality Engineer will lead implementations of improvement plans and actions that shall result with improved production FPYs and Filed Reliability.

· The Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading investigations and root cause analysis for in process failures and customers claims for CAPA implementation.

· The Quality Engineer will manage the MRB and reflect Quality related Costs to the site manager.

Requirements:

Education:

· Practical Engineer as minimum requirement, Engineering BSc (Mechanical/Materials or Electronics) is advantage.

· Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

Work Experience:

· At least 3 years' experience in Quality Engineering of big electronics Products/Machines assembly in Mass Production.

· Proven experience of Quality monitoring, Failure analysis investigations and implementations of quality improvements result with quality and reliability improvements.

· Proven experience of deferent production methodologies, technologies and process.

· Proven experience with Engineering PLM, Agile is advantage.

· Proven experience with ERP systems, ORACLE is advantage.

· Good Personal skills.

· Good computing skills.

· Good verbal and writing in English.
