Sec-Ops Engineer

CYE is looking for a Sec-Ops Engineer to join our security team. As a sec-ops engineer,you’ll help fortify CYE’s own security posture, setup defence and monitoring capabilities, and investigate alerts from multiple security solutions.
Responsibilities
Configure security solutions and their corresponding alerts
Implement new security controls to protect our on-prem/cloud infrastructure
Identify Security gaps and recommend on solutions to close them
Help design the CYE’s monitoring capabilities
Investigate on-going alerts
Be part of an CYE’s internal IR team in case of an incident
Support the development and implementation of processes, security policies, security foundations and security standards
Support achieving security certificates and assist with GRC efforts
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience as a security engineer
Experience with security controls e.g., EDR/XDR, DLP, CSPM,CNAPP, etc.
Experience with Office365 & EntraID security controls
Experience with implementing security monitoring procedures & systems
Experience with securing cloud environments – AWS, Azure
SOC Engineer experience – An advantage
Security-related certifications – An advantage
