Team8 Cyber Stealth Startup- Product designer lead

We’re a post-seed, stealth-mode startup, backed by Team8 and other leading VCs, building something new — a product designed to help security people move from complexity to clarity and action. The foundations are still forming, and we’re looking for a designer who’s excited to shape not just how it looks, but how it works, how it feels, and how it empowers.

This is a rare opportunity to design from zero: to define the experience, the visual language, and the workflows — and to work alongside a small, driven team exploring how design, AI, and real-world decision-making come together.

What You’ll Do

Lead the product’s UX/UI from early explorations to polished execution
Translate abstract ideas and technical workflows into intuitive, human-centred experiences
Build a scalable design system from the ground up (Figma)
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to prototype, test, and ship quickly
Design interfaces that harness AI to support and guide user decisions
Own user research and use insights to iterate and improve

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of product design experience — ideally in early-stage or high-velocity teams
A strong portfolio that shows systems thinking, clarity, and craft
Experience designing AI-assisted workflows or data-rich tools
Mastery of Figma and modern prototyping tools
Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Curiosity, creativity, and a drive to create meaningful, empowering experiences.
