As Part of your role, you will:
Shape Company Roadmap and Delivery
Contribute as a key member of the management team, steering Pixellot’s technology roadmap to support our ambitious growth targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Enhance Video Technology and Media Experiences
Leverage advanced knowledge in video encoding, streaming, and cross-platform video players to enhance Pixellot’s product offerings, and create high-quality, reliable media experiences for diverse users.
Develop Customer Engagement Solutions
Lead the design and implementation of features and products focused on enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction, ensuring Pixellot’s solutions meet and exceed user expectations across diverse sports markets.
Drive the Adoption of Emerging Technologies
Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce cutting-edge technologies, methodologies, and tools that enhance Pixellot’s competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
Lead a Large-Scale R&D Team
Manage and expand a global R&D group of approximately 100 professionals, including expertise in C++, C#, Python, Node.JS, Vue, Angular, and more. Guide cross-functional teams in video streaming, computer vision, deep learning, mobile development, and QA.
Build and Manage Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Sales and Marketing, and Operations teams to align technical development with business goals, ensuring seamless collaboration and integrated solutions.
You should bring with you:
Proven experience in a VP R&D role within a technology-driven organization, preferably in a SAAS companies with advanced customer engagement solutions
Deep understanding of AI, video technologies, cloud solutions, software development, and Agile methodologies.
Understanding of SAAS and familiarity with SaaS business metrics.
Experience in hardware-software solutions - strong advantage.
Strong track record in leading and scaling large technical teams across multiple locations.
Proven expertise in driving scalable architecture and technology solutions, particularly within high-demand environments.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic management discussions and drive impactful organizational change.
Ability to clearly convey complex technical ideas to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering an environment of transparency and understanding.
Skilled in evaluating options quickly and thoughtfully to resolve challenges and make strategic decisions that drive growth and innovation.
