Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in C++ or Java programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:
Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems or the Google Search infrastructure stack.

The SVI Growth Features team is the engine driving user engagement for the Search Verticals organization.

Our team uses its growth expertise to focus on Search Volume Index (SVI) such as finance hubs and agentic search—directly contributing to the evolving Search stack. Our mission is two-fold: we scale proven growth strategies across SVI while pioneering 'GrowBot', a high-risk project to automate the identification, development and launch of growth opportunities at scale using AI.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features for key growth surfaces.
Launch and analyze A/B experiments to validate growth hypotheses and iterate quickly based on data to scale winning strategies across different SVI verticals.
Write clean, efficient, well-tested code, and contribute to design docs and participate in code reviews to maintain the high bar of the Search stack.
Work closely with Product Management, UX, and Data Science to translate user needs into technical requirements and identify the next high-potential growth levers.
Support the evolution of GrowBot, contributing to the AI automation of growth lever identification, development, experimentation and deployment to help SVI scale more efficiently.
