Job Overview:

The Israeli Cluster (Israel, Cyprus, Malta) Financial Controller is leading the financial controlling and reporting, accounting, tax, SOX compliance, internal and external audits and ensures the financial reporting is organized, accurate and efficient.

This role goes beyond traditional financial controllership – the controller will also act as a business partner to local and regional leadership providing actionable insights, supporting commercial decisions, and driving business growth across the cluster.

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations as well as the tax and financial reporting. This includes monthly closing and analysis of the TB together with regional and global stakeholders, support the corporate financial reporting, preparation of the statutory financial statements and leading the audit, tax reporting and compliance, local profitability and TP adjustments. Oversee the salary process together with local HR.
Assure financial activities and results are in compliance with US GAAP, IL GAAP, SOX policies/procedures and local tax and regulatory requirements.
Supports finance organizational strategies such as process improvements and automation in financial and tax reporting.
Being a business partner - lead or participate in various finance-related cross-functional projects across the cluster.

Required Experience:

University degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (CPA is a must, MBA is a strong plus).
3-4 years’ experience in financial analysis/consulting in a multinational company.
Experience in cross-functional and cross-cultural work/project.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Fluent in Hebrew and English.
Demonstrated project management skills.
