תיאור התפקיד: Israel Shipyards is seeking a senior manager and subject matter expert to lead the field of Marine Engineering for the design of vessel machinery systems. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and team development to drive the success of marine engineering design as part of a comprehensive ship design and shipbuilding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Marine Engineering design effort, as part of a the overall ship design process, as the Marine Engineering design Team Manager. Oversee the development, design, planning, and transformation to production (NPI) of machinery systems for vessels and offshore platforms, including ship propulsion plant, piping, and HVAC systems. Track the shipbuilding process, improve and update the design and oversee its update to the as-build configuration.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Collaborate and interface with engineering teams from other disciplines and leading subcontra
דרישות: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized academic institution (master’s degree - advantage).
• Expertise and proven experience in marine engineering systems design, including in-depth knowledge of machinery, propulsion plant, piping and HVAC systems for vessels, design aspects and their maintenance requirements.
• Experience in planning and managing the design process of machinery and piping systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew
