In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power decision-making across the company. Requirements:

✅ What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
Strong programming skills in at least one language: Python, Go, or Java - Must.
High proficiency in SQL as a primary query and data-management language - Must.
Proven experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and big-data workflows.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudFormation).
Experience with modern data stacks and tools such as Snowflake, DynamoDB, dbt, ArgoFlow, ArgoEvent.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD practices, and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git, ArgoCD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Innovative mindset with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Advantages:

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and algorithms.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., QuickSight).
Background in building and maintaining logging/monitoring systems such as Elasticsearch clusters.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Define and implement data architectures and infrastructures that support analytics, BI, and product needs.
Automate client data ingestion and transformation workflows to ensure quality and consistency.
Manage and optimize cloud-based databases, tables, and large-scale storage systems.
Build APIs for seamless integration with internal and external data sources.
Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and visibility tools (e.g., Elasticsearch).
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and PMs to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Ensure data security, integrity, reliability, and compliance with best engineering practices.
Contribute to high-scale, high-impact projects that power Moonshot’s global operation.
