Position Description:We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to join our R&D team. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and overseeing the development of complex software systems across both cloud and edge environments. You will play a pivotal role in defining the system architecture, establishing design patterns, and ensuring that our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals. Your deep understanding of software architecture principles, combined with expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and patterns of enterprise application architecture, will be key to driving innovation and efficiency in our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and design the software architecture for scalable, distributed systems across cloud and edge environments, focusing on long-term maintainability, scalability, and performance.

Lead architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the technical roadmap.

Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to model business domains effectively, defining clear boundaries between components and services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the architecture supports product requirements and can be easily extended for future needs.

Lead the selection of appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks, ensuring compatibility and smooth migration of existing systems and using best practices.

Develop high-level architecture documents and detailed system design specifications that guide the development process.

Champion the use of architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and CQRS to achieve high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.

Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of the system architecture with cloud services (e.g., AWS), container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Oversee the implementation of complex systems, providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Perform code and design reviews, ensuring consistency with architectural principles, code quality, and system performance.

Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and tools, applying relevant knowledge to continuously improve system design.

Qualifications / Experiences:
5+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, and development, with a focus on large-scale, heterogenous (cloud-edge), distributed systems.

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and architectural patterns.

Expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and command-query responsibility segregation (CQRS) for designing high-performance systems.

Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable cloud-based systems, especially using AWS services.

Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Python, Rust, Go and distributed data pipelines.

Knowledge of Kubernetes.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex system challenges in both cloud and edge environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable designs and plans.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Good written and spoken English
