The Opportunity

We are searching for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in scaling our financial operations, particularly in the global payroll and accounts payable functions. Responsibilities:

Process Payroll for all Israeli employees
Ensuring compliance with local tax guidance
Report to additional institutions such as social security, the IRS, etc.
Process new employees and employment termination paperwork
Responsible for full-cycle global accounts payable functions, including
Enter invoices into the system ensuring accurate department, expense classification, and entity
Preparing weekly payment runsbatches accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with purchasing policies and procedures
Maintaining organized AP documentation including contacting vendors to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W9s, payment/bank details, or other items
Accurate processing of 1099s annually.
Report VAT and vendor tax withholding reports to global authorities

Requirements:

Experience working with global payroll providers like Shiklulit
Deep knowledge of Israeli labor laws including, personal income tax legislation, labor code, and social benefits
3-5 years of payroll accounting experience in international high-growth technology companies
High level of English proficiency (writing, reading, and speaking)
Experience in NetSuite or similar ERP software
Experience with solutions like: Bill.com, Ramp, Expensify, Mesh, Hibob
