We are looking for a strong, motivated and highly technical Backend R&D Team Leader.

The team leader will:

Be responsible for creating server-side infrastructures in NodeJS as part of Check Point’s Infinity Portal.
Lead highly skilled and talented people working together in agile development methodologies.
Lead state-of-the-art, high scale cloud services.
Collaborate with other teams in our group, QA engineers, cross-organization functions, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

As the Cloudinfra Back-End Team Lead you will:

Drive the team's strategic technical direction
Direct and coordinate activities necessary to understand business objectives
Translate business objectives into a technical roadmap
Foster a culture of high standards, growth, and accountability within the team, promoting a shared vision and collective ownership of product and business outcomes.
Conduct design reviews, service health monitoring processes, and development and deployment processes
Provide guidance and mentorship to the team
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, customer success, and operations, to align product initiatives with business goals and drive successful go-to-market strategies, product adoption and growth.
Qualifications
2+ years of technical leadership/managerial experience
5+ years of Hands-On deep experience with AWS and its managed services (including ECS/EKS)
5+ years of programming experience using NodeJS and additional high-level programming language
Experience in PostgreSQL/ElasticSearch/Redis/SQS/Kafka - must
Experience with micro-services architecture – must
