Rad is hiring a QA Engineer to be part of the team. The position is hybrid, with up to twice a week working remotely. The office is located in Jerusalem.

Job Description

The employee will be responsible for performing manual and automatic tests for data communication in Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.

The work includes:

Development of test methods and test plans

Performing manual tests

Development and management of automated test scripts

Report on test results

Working with the R&D team and other QA teams

Mandatory requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a focus on manual and automatic testing for data communication in Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks

In-depth knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, and OSI Model(seven layers of computer systems used to communicate over a network).

Excellent Hands-on experience with ETHERNET protocol Layers 2 and 3.

Excellent Hands-on experience with traffic generators – Spirent & IXIA.

Desired requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering, computer science.

Excellent experience working with the OSPF protocol(routing protocol for Internet Protocol networks)

Experience working with manual testing tools, such as Wireshark and tcpdump

Knowledge of Linux – an advantage

Ability to work independently and in a team

High-level interpersonal communication.
