Buyer (Maternity Cover)

At adidas, we believe that “through sports, we have the power to change lives.” Our Procurement team is key in ensuring operational efficiency, optimizing costs, and driving automation to support our business growth. We are seeking a Buyer to execute procurement strategies, optimize supplier selection, and contribute to saving targets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring procurement automation and compliance with sourcing best practices.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

Execute and manage the tactical buying process for low- to mid-value purchases, ensuring compliance with defined thresholds.
Identify suppliers from the preferred list, negotiate contracts, and finalize selections.
Conduct eSourcing events in Ariba and negotiate purchase order terms.
Support procurement automation by expanding catalogue coverage.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely tendering and meet SLAs with business units.
Analyze and facilitate mid-value purchases while assisting category managers with high-value procurement.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proficiency in English and Hebrew (spoken and written).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related.
Minimum 4 years of business experience in Procurement (sourcing execution, contract management, and procure-to-pay processes).
Experience in one or more categories: IT, Professional Services, Marketing, or Facility Management.
Proficiency in eSourcing tools (SAP Ariba preferred), analytics, and compliance management.
Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
