mPrest is seeking a qualified candidate with exceptional communication skills and a solid understanding of the global energy industry to join our team as a Technical Presales professional. This role combines the responsibilities of a presales manager and a software system engineer, engaging with prospects, customers, sales, marketing, delivery, and product development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
Proven skills in designing and developing robust system architectures in the electrical distribution system.
Proficiency in creating product roadmaps and aligning them with business objectives.
Experience with writing requirement specifications (SRS) and detailed design documents (DLD).
Experience in solving algorithms for complex network systems.
Strong understanding of power systems and distribution networks.
Experience with real-time systems and communication protocols (e.g., SCADA, IEC 61850, DNP3).
Performance optimization: monitoring and analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing components.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
UI/UX skills: Experience with UI mockups and wireframe solutions.
Experience with AI and machine learning applications in energy management.
Defining and validating product requirements with end-users.
Managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical presales efforts and articulate mPrest’s capabilities in the energy sector.
Understand customer needs and pitch mPrest’s products as leading solutions.
Predict future product development needs based on customer behavior.
Identify and target new customers.
Demonstrate mPrest’s energy products and become a trusted advisor.
Manage responses to RFX processes and unsolicited offers.
Collaborate with R&D and Delivery teams in system engineering.
Make sales presentations and prepare proposals and tenders.
Plan sales strategies in response to market trends.
Architect technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
Build lasting customer relationships.
Manage accounts, generate, and close business opportunities, while supporting other sales executives.
Collaborate with software engineers.
Define and validate product requirements with end-users.
Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch activities.
