Job Description:

The employee is required to promote the MCB (Master Cell Bank) organization in preparation for shipment to a backup at our company site abroad.
The required work includes specific treatment of each item from the biological collections that is required to be transported abroad.
Including administrative handling in terms of regulation of export and import between countries. Both at the customs level, biological safety regulations and all other regulations needed.
In addition, the skilled employee will assist in the physical preparation of the shipments and their packaging in accordance with the required regulations.
The scope of this project needs an FTE employee that could handle about 1,200 different MCBs.
The work requires general safety training, with an emphasis on chemical and biological safety training according to the corporation's procedures.
The work is varied and will also include physical work in accessing the biological collections housed in different physical conditions, including working with liquid nitrogen.
Office work in front of a computer for updates of the DBs in the data. data retrieval

Skills needed:

BSc. Degree in Life science, Biology, Biotechnology, or other related fields. The position is open to students in the process of completing their studies for a degree.
Willingness to work full time (FTE).
Previous experience working in a biological laboratory is required. Preferably with experience working with microbial pathogens and tissue cultures.
Personal skills, responsibility, high motivation, adherence to the goal, curiosity, perseverance, teamwork.
Ability to work independently, time management, organization, and order.
Willingness to work alternately at the company's sites in Jerusalem and Rehovot.
Availability for immediate work.
