Key Responsibilities

Architecture Design: Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP according to Project Nimbus standards and best practices.
Migration Strategy: Lead the migration of on-premises or legacy workloads to the cloud, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols, identity management (IAM), and governance frameworks mandated by the Nimbus regulatory requirements.
Automation (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Advisory: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical execution and project goals.

Required Qualifications

GCP Expertise: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Google Cloud. Professional Cloud Architect certification is a major plus.
Nimbus Knowledge: Direct, hands-on experience working within the Project Nimbus framework, including its specific landing zones, security layers, and connectivity (Direct Peering/Interconnect).
Technical Stack: Proficient in Kubernetes (GKE), Anthos, Cloud Operations (Stackdriver), and networking (VPC design, firewalls)
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the project, a valid security clearance (Sivug) may be required.
