Summer Trainee, Sales Support Engineer

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Sales Support Engineer to join Normet’s Normet Service Design Engineer team in Iisalmi Service Center, on 1st of May – 31st of August 2025.

The team is responsible for providing solutions for used Normet equipment’s to add for example new features or applications to used machines. Those solutions are called Upgrades and Modifications (U&M).

In this position, you will be responsible for Service products Sales Support to Normet subsidiaries. This will include Normet Service products quotation support.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Defining sales prices, availability, delivery times

Product material for Normet equipment U&M

Maintain and update standard Service product offering material

To shine in this position, we hope you to have:

Good communication skills in Finnish and English both written and spoken

Good organizational skills

Ability to adapt, prioritize and focus in quickly changing situations

Previous experience in sales support, sales or in service area

Have the right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds

Have a can-do and results-driven attitude

Studies in business or engineering bachelor’s degree, as trainee position you can be just started your studies.

Know how to use MS Office tools, knowledge on how to use Sovelia (PLM) is an advantage
