Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an Offshore Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) trading in Israel. Lead the engine department, ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery, and support smooth vessel operations offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee operation and maintenance of main engines, auxiliaries, and all machinery
Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
Manage engine room crew and ensure safe working practices
Monitor fuel, lube oil, and spare parts consumption and ordering
Keep engine logbooks, records, and reports up to date
Work closely with the Master on vessel performance and safety
Requirements:
Valid Chief Engineer license for seagoing vessels (STCW compliant) vessel below 500GT
Proven experience as C/E, preferably on offshore or fast supply vessels / fast crew vessels
Good knowledge of engine room systems, troubleshooting, and repairs
Valid STCW safety and offshore certificates as required
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty and ready to work in offshore conditions in Israel
