Description

The Camera and Depth Sensing team in Israel is looking for a system design engineer directly responsible for the design of calibration, simulation and test for new camera systems. This engineer works closely with Hardware design, Algorithm design, Data analysis and Operation groups to ensure the success of future Apple products.

Minimum Qualifications

MS/PhD student in EE/CS/Physics/Optics
Strong Matlab/Python programming skills
Large quantity data analysis in Matlab/Python/JMP/Tableau
Strong problem solving capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a collaborative, highly cross-functional and fast paced environment
Experience in some of the following is an advantage:
Python/ C/ C++/ C#/ Objective C
Depth sensors, camera, computer vision, image processing
Imaging, measurement & test systems, optical instrumentation
Work on embedded systems

Preferred Qualifications

Develop, optimize and debug the algorithms responsible for calibration and image processing, in Matlab
Agree with multi-functional teams to specify and implement the end-to-end test coverage
Analyze large scale factory data, and formulate critical reports of the product performance
Analyze and debug failures, and come up with Hardware and Software solutions
