Certora is the most comprehensive and trusted security firm to ensure a platform is protected, even under adversarial conditions.From testnet to mainnet, we’re with you.About the RoleCertora is looking for a Validator Infrastructure Engineer to own, operate, and expand our validator infrastructure across current and future blockchain networks.This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on validator operations, Linux systems, reliability, performance, monitoring, and security hardening. The role includes maintaining existing validator environments, leading the deployment of new validators, and driving infrastructure decisions around hardware, hosting, networking, latency, observability, and resilience.In parallel, this role contributes to broader infrastructure work across cloud environments, internal systems, and security-focused operational initiatives.High availability is critical, and the role requires flexible availability in the event of unscheduled maintenance, production issues or service degradation.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the operation, maintenance, and reliability of existing validator infrastructureLead the deployment of new validators across additional blockchain networksEvaluate and optimize hardware, hosting providers, geographic placement, bandwidth, and latencyOperate and improve bare metal validator environments with a strong focus on uptime, stability, and performanceDesign and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational automationTroubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediationManage upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and ongoing infrastructure improvementsApply hardening and secure configuration practices across validator and infrastructure environmentsSupport infrastructure engineering work across AWS, internal cloud environments, and Linux-based systemsContribute to internal infrastructure and selected security-related operational projectsMandatory RequirementsStrong hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsProven experience operating production infrastructure in high-availability environmentsExperience with blockchain validators or similar distributed node infrastructure; Exposure to data analysis: able to query data, build basic dashboards, and interpret metrics to inform decisions from requirements through optimization.Strong understanding of bare metal environments, hosting providers, and infrastructure performance considerationsGood understanding of networking, latency, routing, and reliability considerations in distributed systemsExperience with monitoring, alerting, incident handling, and operational troubleshooting in production systemsExperience with scripting and automation, including Bash and Python (fluent in at least one programming language), automation, and infrastructure operationsFamiliarity with AWS and infrastructure design in cloud environmentsStrong security mindset, including hardening, access control, and secure configuration practicesAbility to work independently and take full ownership of systems and projectsStrong AdvantageHands-on experience operating Solana or Sui validatorsExperience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management toolsExperience selecting and optimizing hardware and hosting environments for performance-sensitive systemsExperience supporting internal infrastructure and security-related operational workWho You AreHands-on, practical, and highly reliableStrong in Linux and production infrastructureComfortable troubleshooting complex issues under pressureAble to make sound technical tradeoffs across performance, cost, availability, and securityIndependent, accountable, and clear in communicationComfortable working across both Web3 infrastructure and broader internal systemsCertora PeopleWe are Customer Centric, when we commit, the customer knows we will deliver in a quality and timely manner.We Move Fast - we’re looking for people with a bias for action and a sense of urgency to achieve quick results while we also Break Nothing – we have high-quality standards, we are looking for people who are professional and hold themselves accountable.We win as a Team – our teams are distributed around the world.
