A growing and developing company in the field of drone development for military applications is building a system engineering team and is looking for a team leader to lead the development of advanced, multi-disciplinary complex systems. The role includes team management, responsibility for planning, developing, and managing the lifecycle of platforms, while maintaining technological innovation.

Location: Rosh Hayin

Innovation and Future Development:
Research and development of new technologies to improve existing systems and develop new systems
Identifying technological trends in the field of drones and integrating them into the company's products
Promoting technological collaborations with external bodies (academia, defense industries)
Technical Project Management:
Overall responsibility for meeting project goals in terms of performance, quality, schedules, and budget
Managing integration processes of complex systems and comprehensive testing (Integration and Testing)
Identifying and managing technological risks throughout the project lifecycle

Leading Systematic Planning and Development:
Defining drone system architectures and leading the end-to-end development process.
Translating customer requirements into technical design and detailed system requirements.
Defining interfaces between subsystems (hardware, software, algorithms, communication, control).

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software, Mechanical, or other relevant fields (Master's degree is an advantage).
At least 5 years of prior experience in system engineering in the fields of aviation/robotics/unmanned vehicles.
Broad understanding of multi-disciplinary systems including hardware, software, RF, and control.
Ability to plan and integrate complex systems
Knowledge of project management processes – an advantage
Proficiency in engineering software and system management tools (such as MATLAB, Simulink, DOORS).
Proficiency in C++, Linux, PX4/ARDUCOPTER – an advantage
Proficiency in TCP/IP networks – an advantage
Familiarity with DDS, ROS, Nvidia Jetson – an advantage
High-level English proficiency
