What you'll do:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of E2E automation frameworks for our cutting-edge product
Develop and maintain robust automation tests to ensure high-quality product releases
Design scalable automation solutions to handle complex testing scenarios across various components (cloud, client and on-prem)
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to create comprehensive test plans for new features and automate them
Drive innovation in automation strategies, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and scalability
Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, providing actionable feedback to the development team
Work closely with DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments
Ensure automation covers key cybersecurity functionalities, including secure communications and threat detection
Occasionally perform manual regression and acceptance tests to assure the quality of newly delivered features

Requirements:

What you’ll bring with you:

5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on E2E/UI testing
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as JavaScript / Typescript or similar
Proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks from scratch
Expertise in testing web applications, APIs and backend systems
Deep understanding of CI/CD processes and integrating automation into pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
Highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about quality assurance and automation

Nice to have but not a must:

Working with UI automation testing tools such as Playwright / Puppeteer / Selenium / Cypress
A start-up working experience, preferably in early stages
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and testing for security vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP)
Experience with load and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
B.Sc. Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent knowledge
