Materials Researcher

Landa Digital Printing is seeking an innovative and driven Materials Researcher to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge formulations for printing blankets.

This role involves researching and formulating advanced silicone release materials and contributing creative solutions to enhance product performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and a passion for pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Requirements:

M.Sc., M.Eng. or Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, material engineering, or extensive professional experience in the field of polymers/coatings/composites
At least 2 years of experience working with polymers/coatings/composites
Experience using literature/IP surveys
Hands-on experience with material testing and analysis methods
Strong knowledge of polymer science and release coating technologies
Familiarity with analytical techniques such as FTIR, TGA, DSC, and rheology
Background in printing technologies or related industries. – Advantage

Responsibilities:

Design formulations to meet specific performance criteria.
Conduct detailed lab testing of developed materials, including physical, chemical, and mechanical property evaluations.
Research emerging trends, technologies, and new materials.
Propose and implement novel ideas to improve product performance.
Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations through reports and presentations.
