Systems Engineer

A global provider of innovative communication solutions is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their office in Netanya. The Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the technical management and development of precision tracking systems. This position involves overseeing the architecture, design, and integration of complex systems, ensuring alignment with project goals, and managing customer-facing technical engagements.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical project management of precision tracking systems within R&D, including planning and monitoring all related activities.
* Manage the R&D project budget, including material and labor allocations.
* Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, leading design reviews, acceptance testing, and system integration processes.
* Define and oversee system-level architecture for complex systems, ensuring coherence across hardware, software, and system requirements.
* Develop and manage specifications and requirements at the System, Software, and Hardware levels.
* Actively participate in and lead Integration and Proof of Design phases.
* Design electrical connectivity between Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or System Engineering is advantageous.
* At least 3 years of experience as part of a development team for multidisciplinary projects.
* Demonstrated project management experience across full project life cycles.
* Expertise in writing detailed requirements and specifications in English.
* Strong background in complex system architecture design.
* Hands-on troubleshooting experience with sophisticated systems.
* Open-minded and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrix management environment.
* Proficiency in English, including fluency in speaking, writing, and reading.

Additional Advantages:
* Knowledge and experience in SATCOM systems.
* Familiarity with servo and control algorithms, mechanical design, RF communication, and real-time software.
