_Tracense is a startup developing sensing systems for trace materials. The company holds patents in sampling and detection of trace materials. Our work spans diverse fields: fluid dynamics, electronics, algorithms, electrochemistry, and materials. Since our system detects sensitivities as low as nanograms per liter or parts per billion in some materials, any change significantly impacts system performance, underscoring the importance of continual system optimization._

*Responsibilities*

• Research and development of advanced sensing technologies for energetic materials.

• Optimization of sensor performance, selectivity, reliability, and durability through experiments and testing.

• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including research, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure successful technology transfer from the lab to mass production.

• Characterization and in-depth analysis of target materials and compatible sensor systems.

*Qualifications*

• Master's or Doctorate degree in electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, materials science, or related field.

• Experience, willingness, and enthusiasm for hands-on research in a laboratory setting.

• Extensive experience in the design, development, and characterization of chemical sensors. Experience with electrochemical sensor technologies is advantageous.

• Experience in technology transfer of chemical sensor technologies from research to production and commercialization.

• Problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, with critical and creative thinking capabilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to efficiently lead multidisciplinary teams.

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

• Fluent in spoken/written/reading English, including presentations (and of course Hebrew).
