We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled developer to join our team. This critical role involves the development, ongoing maintenance, and advanced optimization of our large, international Shopify e-commerce store. The position requires high technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and close collaboration with our marketing and design teams in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance features for our core Shopify platform, ensuring scalability and performance. Implement and manage customizations using Liquid for theme enhancements and updates. Build and deploy advanced features utilizing Shopify Hydrogen and Next.js for our Headless Commerce initiatives. Proactively identify and implement technical SEO and site performance improvements. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into robust, pixel- perfect user interfaces. Mandatory Technical Requirements Proven Shopify Expertise: 2+ years of experience developing and managing large-scale Shopify or Shopify Plus websites (international/multi-market experience is a significant advantage). Expertise in developing and maintaining code using Liquid. Proven experience working with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API). Modern Web Development: High and deep proficiency in JavaScript. Proven experience developing with Next.js and React in a production environment. Expertise in building and deploying functionalities using Hydrogen (Shopify’s Headless Commerce platform). Full command of HTML5 and CSS/SCSS preprocessors. Significant Advantages Custom App Development: Experience in developing custom private Shopify Applications. Serverless/Edge Functions: Experience with technologies like Vercel or Cloudflare Workers. General Skills and Additional Requirements Language: High-level professional English (written and verbal) – Mandatory Design and UX Understanding: A significant advantage for candidates with a strong grasp of design principles and UX best practices, and the ability to propose proactive improvements. Personal Skills: Strong communication
