Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Nagish, you will use data to drive insights and innovations that make communication accessible for Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. You’ll design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions that directly impact our users and product.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

Collaborate with engineering, marketing, growth, support, and executive teams to identify data-driven solutions to business and product challenges.
Develop and deploy machine learning models, focusing on natural language processing (NLP), speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and audio analysis.
Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to power machine learning models and analytics.
Analyze and interpret user behavior, product performance, and system data to inform strategy and improve accessibility features.
Lead efforts in segmenting user personas and understanding the spectrum of disabilities to tailor solutions for diverse needs.
Design dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key findings effectively.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in LLMs and AI technologies to incorporate cutting-edge innovations.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
Strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
Experience with NLP, audio analysis, and working with large language models (LLMs).
Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Hands-on experience deploying machine learning models and pipelines in production environments, preferably on GCP.
Excellent communication skills to present complex insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus:

Experience with real-time data processing and streaming analytics.
Familiarity with tools such as dbt, BigQuery, and BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
