What you’ll do:

Full ownership of payroll processing, including compliance, reporting, and controls.
Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high standards in payroll execution while identifying areas for improvement.
Act as a focal point for payroll-related matters, providing professional guidance to both the payroll team and management.
Work closely with HR, Legal, Finance, and external providers (Hilan) to optimize payroll processes and policies.
Support, guide, and influence the payroll team, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.
Develop and enforce payroll controls to maintain compliance, prevent errors, and improve efficiency.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting related to payroll.
Utilize Excel and other tools to implement payroll analytics, tracking trends and ensuring data accuracy.
Maintain structured payroll documentation, ensuring transparency and consistency in payroll operations.

Requirements:

What you’ll need:

Certified Payroll Professional, with at least 5 years of proven experience managing payroll for 500+ employees.
Experience with Hilan payroll management systems.
Proficiency in Excel for payroll analysis, reporting, and control development.
Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll taxation, labor laws, pensions, and social rights.
Strong attention to detail, structured and meticulous approach, and a commitment to excellence in payroll execution.
Ability to establish and maintain rigorous payroll controls to prevent errors and ensure compliance.
Strong ability to lead and collaborate effectively with payroll team, management, and external partners.
A professional, approachable, and solutions-driven mindset, with the ability to influence and improve processes.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to change, able to drive initiatives forward.
Familiarity with NetSuite (advantage).
