Senior System & Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior System & Security Engineer with a strong IT and cybersecurity background , specializing in Trellix security solutions . The role involves working on secure, mission-critical environments, system hardening, and endpoint, data, and network security. Key Responsibilities Administration and support of Linux and Windows operating systems Installation, configuration, and patching of operating systems and third-party software System configuration, version control, and environment management Log analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation Supporting real-time and mission-critical systems Applying fixes and updates in production environments Collaboration with cross-functional technical teams Minimum 5 years of experience in system and security engineering Strong experience with Linux and Windows environments Knowledge of C, Java, SQL, and shell scripting Experience with databases (e.g., Oracle) Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Security Expertise – Trellix (Mandatory) Hands-on experience with: ePolicy Orchestrator (On-Prem) Endpoint Security (EDR, ENS, HX) Data Security (DLP, Database Security) Network Security (Network Detection & Response, Intrusion Prevention) Application Change Control and Policy Management Nice to Have Experience working with high-availability or mission-critical systems Background in enterprise or large-scale IT environments
