Senior Data Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our strong team- The team's main responsibility is developing Voyantis' data platform - from ingesting all its data received from customer's data-lakes to allowing complex logic and pipelines to create machine learning insights and actionable decisions to drive the company's core product offering.

Voyantis is a leading LTV prediction platform that powers decisions of performance marketing teams. Our platform provides accurate future lifetime value for each user shortly after acquisition, allowing marketing teams to optimize revenues and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
* Design & implementation of high-quality and large-scale cloud data infrastructure and pipelines with optimized performance and easy maintenance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, data scientists, researchers, developers and product managers to drive together the development of new products and features
* Monitoring performance and prioritizing work by making data-driven decisions
* Drive and coordinate cross-R&D product workflows and initiatives
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in building large complex and scalable data infrastructures - including architecture design, research, development and testing. Experience with modern data lakes / warehouses such as Snowflake / Databricks and tools such as Spark, Kafka, BigQuery / Athena, Airflow / DBT / AWS Glue.
* BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. MSc
* Solid understanding of software design principles - concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, cost analysis.
* Experience with data governance practices - data security, regulation, and performance.
* A "can-do" attitude and a strong sense of ownership.
* A team player with excellent communication skills, independent learning capability and curiosity to explore new fields and achieve constant improvement
* The following will be considered a plus
* Experience with BI and analytics software such as Tableau / Metabase / Looker etc
* Containers and orchestration - Docker, K8S
