UX UI Designer

Papaya is launching a new game-changing initiative, and we’re looking for a passionate and driven Backend Engineer to join our core team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and influence the early stages of an exciting B2C product.

Location & Work Environment:

Based in Tel Aviv, hybrid working model (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home).
Work within a small, dynamic team that is part of an independent startup, but with the support and benefits of Papaya.
You’ll be part of an exciting B2C platform where the product is colorful, engaging, and always evolving.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
Proven background in gaming (mandatory).
Experience with applications, platforms, and design systems.
Strong portfolio showcasing cross-device product design.
Expertise with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Team player with strong communication skills.
Passion for gaming, social platforms, and startup culture.

Nice to Have:

Experience designing interactive gameplay animations.
Background in hyper-casual game design.
Solid understanding of game mechanics.
Experience crafting social-first features (feeds, challenges, sharing, user profiles).

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver user-centered UI/UX for mobile games and social platforms.
Build and maintain design systems across platforms.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and creative teams.
Create engaging user flows and visually compelling interfaces.
Deliver lightweight animations (Lottie, After Effects, or Lottie Editor).
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, MidJourney, generative platforms) to create high-quality design assets efficiently.
Integrate social network experiences (Snapchat, TikTok, Discord, Instagram) into product design.
