Product Manager II - Marketplace

Commerce + Ecosystems (C+E) is responsible for enabling and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey on the Microsoft Cloud. C+E’s Commerce Platform and Experience (CPX) team helps customers learn about, purchase and pay for Microsoft and third-party products and services by facilitating all transactions, as well as managing the core commerce engine that powers Microsoft business, sales motions,
and cloud strategy.

Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace is the easiest way for customers to purchase, and for partners to offer cloud-based solutions and services. It is a key part of Microsoft's cloud strategy, enabling its adoption by businesses worldwide. IDC recently named Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace as a leader among cloud and application-centric marketplaces.

The Marketplace storefronts team builds rich experiences to connect Microsoft customers and partners, providing a trusted platform for finding, evaluating, procuring, and managing cloud-based solutions.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Product Manager, who combines product thinking and execution excellence, to drive key initiatives that align with our mission and business objectives and contribute to the future of our storefronts. As a Product Manager at Microsoft, you will work directly with customers, partners, and many other cross-functional stakeholders to contribute to the success of Microsoft’s Commercial Marketplace in a competitive market.

Responsibilities
Lead product definition and work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver value to customers.
Define and track key performance indicators to measure impact and use data to drive decision making.
Create and manage product backlogs, drive execution, and manage outcomes.
Champion the user experience, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
Engage in market analysis, user research, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
Qualifications

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
4+ years of product management experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of successful product development and launches.
2+ years of product management experience focused on B2B web experiences or SaaS products.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to participate in cross-functional teams.
A customer-first mindset, with a passion for developing solutions that meet and exceed user needs.
