3D designer

Collaborate closely with UX designers and PMs to build immersive 3D map concepts. Be able to take directions on styling and user flows, while Informing aspects of 3D design like materials, lighting and camera behaviors. Work with visual designers to develop a distinct 3D visual language that aligns with and elevates the brand, optimizing for performance and information hierarchy. Utilize your animation skills to bring the map to life, showcasing interactions and behaviors within the 3D environment. Review, refine, and enhance existing 3D designs to ensure ongoing quality and alignment with the evolving map vision. Partner with engineers to convert conceptual mockups into clear implementation guidelines using Godot Studio's 3D capabilities. Share your 3D expertise with the UX team to foster a deeper understanding of 3D design principles and possibilities. The job location is in Tel Aviv, Full time 3-5 years of experience with Blender or equivalent 3D software, demonstrating expertise in modeling, setting up 3D cameras and lights, UV mapping and texture baking. Demonstrated ability to create engaging animations in 3D. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively convey 3D design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to address design challenges creatively, balancing aesthetics with technical constraints. A proactive and self-directed approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Preferred skills- Familiarity with real-time 3D engines such as Godot Studio, Unity, Unreal Engine, etc. Familiarity with PBR theory and material creation. Prior experience with creating user-centered digital experiences, ideally with a focus on mobile products. Prior experience designing for map-based or navigation products.
